Good morning! I am striving to bring my carb grams down to the recommended 30g/ day. My problem comes with my running. I had a good week of low carbing it but when I tried to do my 7 mile long run on Saturday morning, I bonked completely. I had no energy and had to walk a lot of it after about 3 miles. I’m signed up for a 10 miler this Saturday and I don’t know what to do about carbs! Do I abandon low carb for the week before the race or just eat carbs for the pre race dinner and breakfast? I haven’t been strict enough low carb to be totally fat adapted and I’m afraid of bonking again! Does anyone have any advice out there?
