I’ve been trying to incorporate more chia seeds into my diet. I recently found a recipe that called for gelatin, and I thought, chia once bloomed in water could have the same effect in this recipe. So I tried it and it worked perfectly! Anyway, I had a tablespoon of bloomed chia leftover so I incorporated it into my scrambled eggs. It added some nice body and a luxurious smoothness to them. So I’m going to make some bloomed chia at night and find ways to use it every day. I combine 1 Tablespoon of chia with 1/4 cup of water in a lidded glass container and put it in the fridge overnight. Next morning it’s gelatinous and ready for use. Anyone else experimenting with chia or have a favorite recipe? Please share your ideas 👍
