As someone in the group shared about not counting calories but counting macros, I got an app and started keeping track of macros today! Never paid attention to macros before. I already realize that I’m eating way too many carbs in vegetables. I never really counted carbs in veggies if they were considered “low carb” like broccoli, cauliflower and cucumbers. However, I can eat a BJs bag of cauliflower in a day so today I went to enter it in the app. At 4g of carbs per serving and 11 servings in a bag—-that’s 44g of carbs in cauliflower!! Crazy how I can be on the journey for almost 5 years and just realizing this! Will be very curious to see if my meter will show that I’m in ketosis in a few days of counting macros!
