I went on a trip this weekend to my dad’s 90th birthday party. Friday was good and at the start of the party I had low carb shrimp dip with a cracker that I used as a spoon. I then had some steak bites, sausage and water. Then I crashed and burned when the dessert trays were put out. The rest of the weekend went the same way. It’s a new day and I will brush it off and focus on this week’s work. Also, I put my new Stelo CGM on Friday afternoon and it pretty consistently reads about 20 points higher than a finger stick. This morning it was 112, fasted, but my finger stick was 88. Is this a common discrepancy? I know I can still use it to track trends, but it’s discouraging to see the number.
