#whywait2024 Okay, here goes. Confessions of a Lazyboy recliner potato! I dislike exercise. I don’t dislike movement like dance or hiking or yard work. I dislike getting sweaty and have an untrained will when it comes to consistency and progress. Physically I am in the best shape I have been in ten years, though. I’ve had three major joint replacements with the rehab. So the very real pain of standing and walking is mostly gone. My last blood test confirmed that I no longer have NAFLD or diabetes. My CAC is 0. I’m 30 lbs overweight and body fat is 43%. I need more muscle mass. I know this. My excuse this summer has been it’s too hot/humid/buggy to go out here in SC. But why wait? So I will plan on tying on my sneakers and going for a walk each day this week. I am going to need you all to notice and give those digital thumbs 👍 because I’ll need all the external motivation I can get.
