Today is officially one whole year since I stopped eating all sugar, flour, grain, sweetener, & alcohol. πŸ„ πŸ–πŸ“πŸ€ 🐟πŸ₯šπŸ₯¦ πŸ₯¬ πŸ… πŸ₯’πŸ«›πŸ«‘πŸ†πŸ₯™πŸ₯‘ πŸ§ˆπŸ«’πŸ« πŸ“πŸ§„πŸ§…πŸ¦΄ I have put my Type 2 Diabetes into remission, healed my insulin resistance, no longer have high blood pressure, inappropriate sinus tachycardia, insomnia and reduced my anxiety. I was able to stop taking metformin, perindopril, Prozac & zopiclone. I’m a Registered Nurse and believe in using medications wholeheartedly, but if you want to fix the root cause, you can often reverse many chronic conditions by cleaning up your lifestyle. When I was diagnosed with diabetes at age 23 I was told that it was a β€œchronic and progressive disease” and that in 10 years I would be on insulin. My A1c was 12%!!! Yesterday I turned 36 and my latest hemoglobin A1c was 5.0%. This year it has been as low as 4.8% and as high as 5.3%. I never imagined I could do this after all the times I have tried. There is hope! If I can do it, you can do it. Just keep trying.
