Tonight for dinner I made my son’s favorite pasta dish, linguine with cherry tomatoes, garlic, and lemon. I planned it but wasn’t sure what I was going to eat tonight or how I was going to feel about pasta being available. I haven’t made pasta for the family since I started Keto 2 months ago. So the dish came together and I had a strand of pasta to check the seasoning and realized that pasta no longer had control of me. Instead I steamed a head of broccoli, swirled it in garlic butter, and sprinkled it with really good fresh grated Asiago cheese. It was so good! Funny how I have absolutely no desire to eat foods I used to enjoy. I’m totally satisfied by the new Keto foods and can easily make a decision to stay off the glucose roller coaster 🎢
