Finally was able to get back to taking my walk this morning & it felt so nice to be out there in the early sunshine (and by early I don’t mean before the sun comes up…it was 7am! ☺️) Between the long holiday weekend & traveling my regular exercise routines are thrown off & likely to stay that way for another couple of weeks so been getting creative. My daughter has some of the same equipment here that I have at home but not all so I’m just gonna make it work & keep on moving. I’ve still been meeting all my goals & closing all my watch rings but my typical step count has suffered some being away from home… This too shall pass! My strategy to get through it is: *Enjoy my family *Be kind & flexible with myself *Eat low carb/keto *Move my body as much as possible ***Notice I did not put the word “try” in front of any of those. I read once that to say you’ll “try” is inherently giving yourself permission to fail. Better to say “I’ll do my very best” and then live for that standard. Thinking in those terms has served me well. YMMV (your mileage may vary) though! 🤷♀️ #keeponkeepingon 😎
