Working on lever #2 intermittent fasting. Trying to mix up my fasting. One day of 12:12 another 16:8 and all of the other days of the week 18:6. Also working on lever #6 mental health and stress reduction. I love my friends, but they all seem to want to talk in the evening when I need to concentrate on getting my dinner and prepping food for the next day. Also getting ready for bed. I love my friends, but it’s not always good for my mental health or my sleep to hear all of their problems before bedtime. I have had to take a BREAK from that. It’s hard because I love them, but I have to love myself more. 💕 I did some food prep today-I made two 5oz burgers w/cheese, 3 lemon chicken breasts, a big bowl of red cabbage & Brussel sprouts, mixed with lemon juice and garlic, a pound of grass fed ground beef, and a pound of grass fed organic pork with ginger, garlic, & coconut aminos. I also made organic turkey bacon. Lastly, I made myself a special treat. I was craving a good old-fashioned Bartles and James white wine cooler. Not even sure if they make those anymore?? I Added 4 ounces of Prosecco and half a can of Zevia ginger ale and put some organic lemon juice and a lemon slice in it. I left it in the fridge all day and when I was done with work, I had half of it. It was delicious and it really hit the spot and it was only 3.5 carbs for the whole drink!
