Today I had a pretty cool moment, I made 10 eggs and put them in a giant bowl I used to eat my favorite cereal out of, after I was done I put the bowl down and started catching up on some work. I was very comfortable & satisfied and the thought of eating again was non existent. As I started at the bowl I thought to myself, 15 years ago I would have filled that bowl up with fruity pebbles and then shortly after I would have had another bowl of em or another cereal and ate another big meal before bed. And I could hear Dr. Tro saying, what happens when you eat high carb processed food? You eat beyond satiety & 2-3 hours later you're eating again, but what if you had the equivalent of those calories in eggs? The answer is you more than likely couldn't eat the energy equivalent in eggs and if you did you sure the hell wouldn't be eating more eggs later. The amount of eggs I had probably equaled out to one bowl of cereal & milk and my eating window couldn't open back up if I wanted it to. This is the perfect example of why calories are useless and thought it was interesting that this bowl made me think of this even though I hear it daily 😂
