#springtowardhealth Updating this post just to make sure everyone knows that I was channeling @Vic Basmadjian and his posts about the terrible & unsustainable food choices he has to deal with daily with this lifestyle! šŸ˜Ž To be honest, I was actually pretty surprised at how easy & straightforward all my choices were. I never had to ask for any modifications that weren’t already listed as a choice. The unsauced short ribs were the absolute best appetizer I’ve found anywhere. Typically they wanna slather them in bbq sauce and then give you more to dip in. Imagine my surprise when I asked how they come…plain or pre-slathered and my answer was plain! 🄳 Bring that #*%! on!! 🤭 Here’s some pics of the terrible low carb foods I had to contend with during my Mother’s Day Vegas Trip w/ my daughter. The deprivation was real… šŸ˜‰šŸ™„šŸ˜‚ 1. Steakhouse unsauced short rib appy (really cut off those vibes the bread basket was giving out!) 2. NY strip steak w/green beans & salad (not pictured) 3. Keto pizza from the local 100% keto bakery for lunch (we shared) 4. Lettuce wrapped burger w/bacon and egg on top w/house salad (Definitely not fancy but šŸ˜‹) 5. We shared another keto pizza the last day for lunch on the drive home (Don’t judge me…lol 🤭) I had a stash just in case but never really dug into it except to use one of the chocolate mint LMNT pkts in my coffee one day. I came home unscathed other than maybe 1 too many cups of coffee but šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø. I’ll take that ā€œWā€!!
