And I’m off! Not OFF plan but OFF to have some mama-daughter Mother’s Day fun for a few days! Three weeks ago my daughter came home from a Vegas trip with her hubby (some bowling tourney thing) and told me to clear my calendar and dust off my suitcase cuz we were going to have some pre-Mother’s Day fun. Apparently she “did well” while hubby was off bowling & golfing and decided to plan AND prepay for our entire trip! Grown children are the absolute best friends we can have! I’ve said here before that when my kids say “jump” I just ask how high! I JUMP and go with them and thank my lucky stars & everyone in all parts of this practice that I am able to do that. There was a time, not so long ago, when that was not possible! We drove in last night as she has to work remotely for part of today but I see closed watch rings, soaking in some Vitamin D by the pool and plenty of steps in my future today while she sits behind her computer. Some of our shenanigans will include: *Fancy steakhouse 😋 Easy peasy low carb! *Off to the Flamingo for the RuPaul Drag Race variety show & some “fun,” whatever that turns out to be! *Visit our favorite keto bakery (I’ll add the link) & maybe get one of their amazing keto pizzas for lunch on one of our days! Also easy peasy low carb! *Over to Planet Hollywood for dinner & a Shania Twain concert! 🤠 Couple things for sure I can guarantee: 1) I’ll be flexing my low carb chops to the max and using all my tools to stay on track! 2) If I need to use items in my arsenal I won’t hesitate to use them. I added a pic to show my stash (those pistachios are my daughter’s and it took everything in her to purchase them. We’re Dodger fans. She’s a traitor! ☺️) 3) There will be lots of walks & steps gotten for sure!
