What makes me happy Farm Animals Quiet Hope not too long If you like this Let me know The farm is my heaven and destressor and happy to share… Personal goal use work personal days so I have alot of time off this summer for me Today vacation day Morning walk with dogs Probably over 50 years since calf born on this farm Young starter calves ie few months old extreme shortage and baby beef prices thru roof. Male baby calves even more expensive Last 2 years drought hay cost $$ My son able to buy 2 breed organic heifers that going calve within a month since that farmer short hay. FYI the other beefer next to baby - she will have calf soon Every spring last few years my son brought young starter beefers and this winter his supplier had none until last minute and my son only able get female /heiffers and that cost thru roof You see grey house background….that neighbor house that used to be farm area All small farm’s almost gone Our 4th generation farm which was surrounded by dairy farms is now mostly subdivisions FYI on our farm beefers outdoor. Never barn. Even in 20 below- zero my son learn what did in alaska and he spent military college degree permaculture and sustainabile farming Both my husband and I grew up dairy farm Pastures are Special clover orchard grass and he moves beefers daily new grass This baby beefer already thru 2-3 rain storms and not even 5 days old
