Finished off April pretty strong. Still working to fine tune some things - not so much the time/amounts of exercise but the quality/intensity of those workouts. It’s a work in progress! 🤷♀️ *I’ve been asked a time or two about my closing-my-rings-consistency & how I got there. Here are my thoughts on that and tracking in general: *If it works for you then do it. If a tracking device gives you “negative anxiety” then think about letting that part go and just get up and move! All movement matters! I find it gives *me* “positive anxiety” along with a big ole dose of motivation. I got my first Apple Watch from my twin brother when I retired 3 years ago and the “obsession” was born. I found out pretty quickly that seeing the progress real-time kept me conscious of being up & moving rather than sitting. I’ve since added an Oura ring to the collection and l o v e it. *I keep my goals very basic, 300 cals move, 30 min exercise, 12 stands. I always go over those goals, sometimes double, triple or more but after almost 70 years I know myself pretty well and what makes me tick. Meeting-and-exceeding works way better for me than scrambling-to-complete. What does that really say about me? Lazy? Enlightened? 🤷♀️ All I know is it works and I manage to get it done (at least the majority of the time, I’m definitely not perfect.) Moving on to tackle May… 💪💪😎 #allmovementmatters #letsGO #Icandohardthings
