Thought this was interesting. Not sure of the source. But, I know I live in a region of the USA with lots of layer chickens and our store eggs rotate pretty quickly, 8 weeks seems long. Regardless it might be worth stocking up on eggs. Avian Influenza is impacting layers and turkeys in the USA, gosh darn migratory birds spreading the love. I heard eggs have gone up 50% already.
