I’m experimenting with fasting. I’m trying to figure out if it is more beneficial to be at low ketone levels for a longer period of time or elevated ketones for shorter period of time. i.e. is fasting for shorter periods of time and maintaining ketosis more effective than spiking ketones with longer fasts reaching higher ketone levels, but dropping on refeeding? I’ve fasted 75 hours and got to 3,7 mmol/L ketones, until I fed again., but I can stay on ketosis at a lower level between meals of shorter fasting intervals. I’ve not seen this discussed before, Thoughts???
