Anyone have advice on how to handle holiday get togethers in which in-laws want to bring every sweet treat and dessert under the sun? I’m hosting Easter lunch for my in laws and since on previous occasions they have brought multiple desserts (not the low-carb or keto variety either) I mentioned that I would make a dairy free vegan pumpkin pie to accommodate their dietary accommodations. But that it would be really helpful for me if there were not any additional sweet treats or desserts. I explained that I changed my eating habits to improve my health several years ago and it was so much easier without these temptations laid in front of me. I got a silent response.
