Blood pressure pills are crazy Necessary but crazy I am on metroperol which causes my blood sugar to spike so the cardiologist is trying carderverol which is making it spike worse!! Then if you go on newer drugs the insurance refuses to pay and you can’t afford the exorbitant costs!! And leading cause of death for T2 diabetes is heart problems so the pills they give you for blood pressure can cause T2 which then causes heart problems that can kill you!!! When I had my stroke 6 years ago the doctor told me we don’t understand why you had a stroke because your blood work is in there words stellar I had been doing keto for maybe 3 years at that point but unfortunately it didn’t control my blood pressure Maybe if I had known about magnesium and salts before things would be different but keto is still being more and more understood So they put me on 5 different blood pressure pills back then and next thing you know I was type 2 diabetic!! And up 35 lbs!! It has been a journey for sure Hydrochlorithiazide runs up your sugar Beta blockers run up your sugar Statins can run up your sugar Without keto I am quite sure I would be dead and gone by now so I am very thank for this lifestyle intervention Rant over
