Over the last few weeks my fitness instructor has commented on the muscle I am gaining in my arms and legs. It's nice to get noticed but why am I shy about it? I started officially in the gym last June; was doing group workout (not in a gym) once a week before that for 3 months. I remember that first time, she was showing me the equipment, checking out what I could & couldn't manage. She had me try dumbell bench press with 10lbs per side. I could not do it. She found an other exercise/equipment that would work the same muscle group(s). I am happy to say that I am hoping to successfully use 15 lbs on Saturday. My core and legs are definitely stronger too, can move/lift more weight. If you are new to this group or exercise don't be scared to move your body. We all have to start somewhere, the starting point DOESN'T define you. Just keep showing up, it will be worth it! Does lowcarb WOE makes my body more efficient/proficient at building muscle? @Amy Eiges, @Vic Basmadjian , @Brian Wiley @deletedmember and @DoctorLaura THANK YOU for inspiring me, keeping me engaged and having a safe place to get help and knowledge. I can't imagine where I would be without this.
