I'm calculating my ideal amount of daily protein. Because I am obese, my weight (300lb) is over twice the weight of the women in the "reference body weight" or studies that were used to calculate ideal protein (133-147lb). Does this mean I should lean towards the maximum of the 1.2-2g/kg protein that's recommended i.e. 2g/kg or even exceed it? Thank you.
