Yesterday I was so excited to post to you all about my 8238 steps in 90 minutes at tennis practice with my dear friends BUT …. We were rushing from tennis to ice skating for my daughter. This Friday my husband had the day off so he went skating too. I watched … him make 3 laps around the rink and then boom!! He fell and badly broke his wrist! We spent the next 5 hours at the ER. They set some of the bones but he will need surgery to piece back the rest of his wrist. I am so sad for him because he LOVES to ice skate. He is really sad because he can’t lift weights or play tennis for a while…. or ice skate or snowboard!! We always joke that exercise is dangerous … it is usually a joke referring to when we were jogging together years ago and a car hit us … yes both of us. We were jogging across the street together and the car at the stop sign decided to go when we were right in front of the car. Luckily we both jumped up and though he hit us we didn’t get hurt. His hood got dented but I don’t feel badly about it!! 🤣 I hope you all are having fun and showing up!! Exercise and movement are worth it!! Stay safe out there!! ❤️ Oh and today the step count is too low to report!! I’ll do double tomorrow!! 🥴🫶🏻
