I had to start before 1/1. My mind was ready and I didn’t want to lose the that. My last day of “badness” was 12/26–I felt like garbage that day and the months leading up to it. 11 days in and I feel so much better! More energy, better mood, not as tired, fingers and ankles aren’t swollen, and my joints don’t hurt. I remember feeling so amazing when I started 5 years ago, it really makes me wonder why I let old ways creep back in. Progress is being made. I went to a party today and thankfully I went prepared with my own low-carb food. I enjoyed the visit and didn’t touch the wine, pizza, calzones, quesadillas, or cake. I didn’t even have to be strong—I just didn’t want it, I was that satisfied with my food. #timetosoar24
